The Craig County Fairgrounds is conveniently located off Interstate 44 at Vinita Exit 289 and historic Highway 66. It is less than 30 minutes to Grand Lake O' the Cherokees. We are centrally located one hour from Tulsa, OK, one hour from Joplin, MO, three and half hours from Kansas City, KS and two and half hours from Fort Smith, AR. The Fairgrounds is located close to dining, shopping and tourist attractions.
Driving Directions from Interstate 44
Take Exit #289 Vinita / Hwy 66 / Hwy 60. After going through the Toll Booth, turn right onto Historic Hwy 66 West for ΒΌ mile. At the first traffic light, take a left onto S 7th Street / S 4410 Rd. Continue on S 7th Street / S 4410 for 1 mile, crossing over Interstate 44. Turn left onto E Apperson Dr, which goes in front of the Community Center.
